Large bamboo poles form the main support and define the shape of the finished shack.

Much of the hard work building the Shack is done in the night.

It is cooler in the night and there are fewer people around.

Once the mainframe has its covering, there is welcome shade, not only for the visitors but also for the lads building it!

A waterproof covering is necessary, there can be some quite heavy showers early or late season!

We need some shade!

The lads create some temporary shade while the building work continues.

She shade attracts some visitors for a cold beer, and in the background palm branches ar used as the final layer of cover for the shack.
